20 Years!

Where did the time go?

In 1987, Triage met with then, Rockwell Semiconductor, to install its ASCEND™ product to
their Wafer Sort test facility.

ASCEND™ was a networked, Test Station Controller product developed by Triage which was
the most advanced solution at the time, for Real Time Wafer Mapping, Offline Inking,
Parametric Data Collection, Recipe Control, Equipment Utilization, Resource Management
and Process Control.

By 2007, Rockwell became Conexant, then eventually Jazz Semiconductor.  Mean while,
ASCEND™ evolved through 5 platform and software generations to Excess™, a highly
integrated MES system which currently handles Wafer Sort, Package Test, Visual Inspection
and other key back end steps.

The Excess™ system is only installed to limited Triage Manufacturing clients and provides
each a significant competitive advantage in back end costs.

"My thanks to Rockwell / Conexant / Jazz in this acknowledgement for being a great working
partner.  It has been an engineers dream to build solutions which address your demands
and to work with a team of peers which are so dedicated and talented.  Amazingly, the
people whom I started working with in 1987, are all still here and continue to work with me to
this day.  That longevity says it all about Jazz!"
